AROUND OUR HOME — 11

06.30.17

Happy Friday! How it is the last day of June? This month was, yet again, another whirlwind! We started off the beginning of June with fresh eyes and a full heart after visiting two of our dearest friends in California for the holiday weekend! From here, the rest of the month seem to go by so fast — we had a booth at Pineapple Triangle, a Father’s Day pop-up at Frances, spent lots of time with friends, worked on our home, hid from the heat (we had the craziest temps in June) and so much more!

We ended the month with a bang as we celebrated the opening of the West Elm Phoenix location, which now carries select Citizen Home Decor pieces! To say that we’re honored would be an understatement, and we honestly can’t thank ya’ll enough for all of your sweet words of love and support!

Ready for a few peeks into our home during the month of June? Here we go –

— Scott and I brought back this Case Study planter from Shop Pigment a few weekends back after spending what’s felt like forever pining over it and almost ordering it online a million times! So happy to finally have it in our home!

— A bright little spot in our bedroom! Now that the sun is rising so early, our bedroom has been filling with light super early! We went all last summer without black-out curtains, but I’m thinking this year it’s time to invest in some. Also, how did peony season go by so fast? This year it felt especially short (and very delayed), but geez it was so nice when it was here! The dark red ones are my favorite, but the bright pink ones come in at a close second!

— Just a little reminder that I look at daily! This giant print from Anthony Burrill, that we picked up at Schoolhouse Electric when we were in Portland this past January, is one of my favorite purchases of the year! I also love the gold Framebridge frame we ended up pairing it with (and if you’re curious — here’s a few tips on how to style a photo ledge – like the one we have right next to it).

How was your June? Is it hot, hot in your hometown? July is set to be a busy and VERY exciting month — and I truly can’t wait to share all of our adventures here with ya’ll!

Hope you have a lovely, long weekend, friends! Any plans for the 4th of July? I’m in need of a cherry snow cone and a s’more or two (or maybe three, haha)! Here’s to a great one!
