AN AFTERNOON AT THE PUEBLO

07.19.17

Since spotting this darling plant shop on Instagram a few months back, I’ve been dying to visit The Pueblo! Located in the historic Brill Pharmacy building, and right across the street from the recently (re)opened Gallo Blanco, The Pueblo is a curated nursery filled with plants of all sorts, pots of all sizes and the sweetest greeter that might just give you a cold nose welcome. A little stroll through their shop is sure to give you a taste of green thumb envy, but the folks who run it are super knowledgable and equally friendly, so trust me when I say that you’re in good hands here!

Scott and I spent a good amount of time combing through every inch of the shop before finally deciding on a few plants + pots to take home. The Pueblo is the sister shop to The Bosque, downtown Phoenix’s only plant shop and a space that is equally as cute as this one. We actually stopped by The Bosque on our way here a few weekends back — making the afternoon a plant tour of sorts. If it wasn’t so hot out, I might have talked Scott into driving us down to Dig It, but we’ll save that trip for a cooler day.

With summer in full swing, I’ve been trying my best to pull out my sundresses and rock those bare legs on the hottest of days in Phoenix. I’ll admit, I love buying dresses (especially for special occasions — birthdays, holidays, etc.), but I’m not the best at wearing them everyday. This beauty was this year’s “birthday dress,” and is honestly one of my favorite items in my closet currently. If you’re interested, it’s on super sale right now and would look so cute dressed up with heels + a clutch, or dressed down even more with a jean jacket and a pair of white Vans or Converse! I’m planning on bringing it with us to London and Paris, so I’m sure you’ll see it around here again soon.

This snake plant + white pot ended up coming home with us! These tall guys are know for their air purifying qualities, making it a great plant to keep in your bedroom. We actually have a much larger one in our living room and I’ve loved seeing it get taller and taller or the the past year that we’ve been in our home.

The Pueblo also has an outdoor greenhouse! I hear this area is much more lively during the cooler months, so I’m excited to come back in the late fall/winter to get the full experience.

Madewell Magnolia Tie-Back Dress (on super sale!)                                                                              Ellen and James Rattan Bag                                                                                                              Vince Camuto Sandals (similar + on sale!)

If you’re local to the area or just stopping by, I would definitely suggest taking a peek at The Pueblo and The Bosque for all your plant needs (and let’s be real, I bit of plant eye-candy for all you plant lovers out there).

Happy Wednesday, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by!
