A girl can wish right? Christmas list 2009!

It’s finally December, so I thought it would be appropriate to share my Christmas wishlist for this year (just for fun)!

An Ampersand necklace. Oh how I love typography.
The Fun. album!

Starbucks giftcard!
Coffee Bean giftcard!
Cute shiny shoes from Target!
This copy of The Bell Jar because I’ve seen to misplace mine.
Solid black Ray Bans (classic style).
A cutie Blythe!

A Flickr pro account! I wanted to buy myself one this summer, but just didn’t do it. What a nice Christmas present it would be though!
New Minnetonka Moccasins. I actually already own these, but they are a bit worn out, and since I were moccasins every other day, a new pair would be nice.
New TOMS since my are getting a bit worn as well. Oh how I love corduroy!

PS
More Plath tattoos! Love these, especially the second one<3

PSS My hair looked good the other day<3

Light festival, ikea, and our christmas tree.

11.30.09

Yesterday Scott and I went to the a light/holiday festival in the Ahwatukee foothills with Brian, Lindsay, Steve, and baby Emerson. We ended up leaving my camera in the car because it started pouring as we were leaving to walk to the park where it was being held, but we did snap these before we left:

Oh, and Lindsay took these while we were at the actual festival:

After the festival we all decided to go to ikea. The results:
Before the night was over Scott and I decided to finish decorating our mini Christmas tree. The results:
We used a strand of mini led lights and vintage spools of thread!
Tomorrow I’ve decided that I’m going to post my Christmas wish list! I would love to see yours!

PS I received THE prettiest package ever from Danielle on Saturday:

Black Friday, coffee, and pictures.

11.28.09
It’s been a long, and exciting day.

This morning Scott and I went to Coffee Bean for early morning americanos. We spent a little time there relaxing and taking pictures until we decided to join the mob of people that were shuffling through Target.
James Dean status<3
After spending a few hours in Target, and making a few purchases, we decided to do a little more shopping at another local shopping plaza where we yet again made a few purchases.
Later on in the day Scott and I went down to Mill Ave. and had some frozen yogurt at Mojo’s Yogurt. I got a mixture of pomegranate, acai, and cafe latte with kiwi bits and walnuts (mind you the coffee wasn’t mixed with the others at all). Scott got vanilla and pomegranate with strawberries and granola.
After frozen yogurt, Scott and I decided to go on an impromptu photoshoot! We walked around a cute neighborhood in Tempe and ended up taking over 100 photos. Scott took most of them. I think he had fun playing photographer for the day. He took some great shots and I am super excited to share them with you. PS Some of these I took as well.

We also spent some time at my house today, and ate some yummy leftovers for dinner.
Around six o’clock Scott and I headed back down to Mill to catch a little bit of the light parade. We decided we didn’t want to stay long so we ended up going to see our friend Steve play at a little local venue.

The show wasn’t on time, at all, but we still had a nice time and I was very impressed by Steve’s new vocal stylings. He’s a great musician and I’m sure he’s going to go far.
Tomorrow will be spent shopping with my mom, and going to a light festival at night.
Today was a good day that had a lot of meaning behind it. I hope everyone had an amazing day as well.

Happy Thanksgiving loves!

11.27.09

Just wanted to drop in and say Happy Thanksgiving to all my lovely blog friends/readers!

Today was spent eating, looking at fancy new cars, and spending time with my family and my love.
I did find some time though to do a little painting earlier. I painted this cute ceramic camera that Onjoli sent me!
Tomorrow Scott and I are going to Tempe Marketplace at 8 a.m. and getting our shopping on. We already know of a few things that we want to get, so hopefully we’ll leave with a few of those things in hand. We also plan on getting some coffee in the morning (per usual) and are thinking about going down to Glendale Glitters at night!
Hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for all my wonderful blog friends!

11.26.09
Just wanted to make a quick post and say how very thankful I am for all my wonderful blog friends! Here are a few of my lovely blog friends:
First there is Jaelynn. This girl is the best penpal ever, and she owns an amazing vintage/handmade shop! I’m kind of in love with this headband she recently made, and is in her shop right now! PS She has a really cute blog as well!
Then there is Danielle. This pretty lady has been one of my blog friends for awhile now, and she seriously has the sweetest personality. Not to mention she has great style and lives not to far away from me (we will meet IRL soon!).
Then there is Katie! Katie and I had mutual friends in high school but never knew it! Now she lives in Maryland and has an adorable daughter and a very nice husband. Katie is very crafty and has a super cute blog!
Then there is one of my newest blog friends Danielle aka Biscuit girl. This girl has a big heart and has a super cute blog.
I hope everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving and an overall lovely day! My day will be spent going to the car show downtown with my parents, getting coffee at Starbucks, and then having dinner with the fam and my love!

Donuts, trees, cute stickers OH MY!

11.26.09

  Hooray! What a great day!

My class this morning was cancelled, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, and my teacher felt we needed a break from her (finally!), and instead of driving down to downtown Phoenix, I went over to my love’s house and we made donuts and drank iced coffee.

After breakfast we decided to take some cute photos in Scott’s side yard:
(For a cute project!)
Before I left to go to my internship Scott helped me put on my lovely RVA sticker (courtesy of my awesome penpal Jaelynn!).
Ok, off to find something to do!

Twilight for life.

11.24.09

I have this feeling in my heart, and in my stomach that just wont go away. I am a bit ashamed to say that the reason for it is this:

This book/series did it all for me. It sucked me in so bad that I was an emotional wreck for weeks.
Here is something I wrote after I finished all four books:
“Throughout reading the Twilight series  have felt: curious, abandoned, loved, heartbroken, annoyed, giddy, overwhelmed, anxious, and scared. It’s been quite the trip. I wish the series wasn’t over.”
In other news Scott and I went on a cute coffee date to Starbucks today:
Ok, off to do more work!
