Everyone says dressing a boy is just not as fun as dressing a girl, but boy are they wrong! Once I found out we were expecting our little guy at 20 weeks, I scoured the internet and local small shops for bits and pieces to fill our baby boy’s wardrobe. Similar to our own wardrobes, Scott and I saw his close housing neutral colors, skinny jeans and Vans — and well, that’s what he got!
I know searching for cute boy clothes isn’t always the easiest, so I wanted to share my favorite shops for clothes and accessories that I hope will help any other moms, families and friends shop for their own little guy.
T-shirts + Onesies
- Mebie Baby – Ace rocked their onesies all last summer!
- Quincy Mae – They make the best basics in such beautiful colors and soft fabrics. Most of my “keepsake” pieces for Ace are from here!
- Rylee & Cru – The big sister company to QM with clothes that are equally as soft and well-made as you would image.
Pajamas
- Loved Baby – My all-time favorite pajamas comes from Loved Baby. Ace rocked them when he was just weeks old and continues to wear this brand even now.
- Parade – I spotted this sweet brand while in a baby store in Utah picked up two pairs — both of of which Ace wore and wore until he was too big for them. I love the top and pant combo, but their zipper one-piece is my absolute favorite.
- Target – I mean, you just can’t go wrong with Target! Their cozy, footie pajamas have gotten us throw the past two winters.
- Amazon – Shopping for pajamas on Amazon is my new favorite. This pair has been absolute favorite set for Ace lately!
Hats
- Pulp Co. – Ya’ll my obsession with Pulp Co. is real! Ace has been rocking their handmade hats since he was just a few months old and today they’re still our go-to.
- Rad River Co. – Another favorite around here to keep the sun away from Ace’s fair skin.
- James Street Co. – This small shop makes the most darling mom, dad and baby styles in array of colors. I bought Ace one of their newborn hats last year and it still fits him (the sizing might have been slightly off) and this year I decided to get the whole fam matching tan beanies to rock together during the colder months.
Shoes
- Vans – Scott and I have been wearing Vans for as long as we can remember, so it only made sense for Ace to rock them too. He’s gone from the soft-soled sets to the hard bottoms and they just keeping up in size — he’s currently a 5.5!
- Saltwater Sandals – Another family favorite that our family has been wearing for generations (even Ace’s Great grandmother had a pair) and I couldn’t help but carry on the tradition with our little guy.
Pants
- Zara Baby Skinny Jeans – With his long, skinny legs and barely there bum, these Zara skinny jeans are my favorite jeans for Ace to wear.
- Jamie Kay Leggings – My favorite leggings for our little guy. Actually, anything Jamie Kay is my favorite. Everything is so soft and made to last.
