Hello, ol’ friend! Where have I been you ask? Well, I’ve been right here — at home, working, playing, building a greenhouse and raising our little boy. I truly didn’t to intent to be so quiet around here, but we’re going to change that starting now. After all, our 11 year anniversary in coming up in just a few short weeks! Anywho, here are a few things that I’ve been loving, along with couple of photos and thoughts on lately.
STYLE — I shared my obsession with the Doen Spring 2020 collection a few months back and well, things haven’t changed. This lovely “nightgown” just joined the ranks of my spring/summertime wardrobe.
EAT — It’s peach season here in the Valley of the Sun and while we can’t do our regular peach picking at our local grower, Schnepf Farms, we have continued to support our growers and have purchased eight seven flats of peaches (yes, you read that right). So far we’ve canned peaches, made a gluten-free peach crumble, snacked on peaches and placed them on our pizza. I would say we’re doing it right!
BABY — Do you think it’s time to title this section “toddler” Ace is officially 18 months old and is sweeter and more fun and wild every day. He’s taken a liking to my dad’s harmonica collection and it’s surely one my favorites moment of the whole day when he busts one out during our evening walks and plays us a tune (evidence here!). I know he may only be 1.5, but I’m already hoping to put him into lessons one day!
SIP — Our favorite local coffee shop, Peixoto Coffee, just launched their first canned beverages! Their classic cold brew and = fan fan favorite, coconut cold brew, are now available to travel and would be perfect for a backyard picnic or neighborhood walk. We have a four-pack of cold brew in our fridge now and I’m so excited to sip on one in the morning.
WATCH — I’ve been re-living my childhood/early teen movie favorites the past few months, including Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You and so many Disney cartoons with Ace. What have you been watching lately? Hot Ones on YouTube has also been on rotation lately!
