The other day it was unseasonably warm (who am I kidding, I live in Arizona. It’s always unseasonably warm!), so I decided to make the best of it and wear something flowy, and my favorite pair of cowboy boots.

Around my school there are so many great old buildings. Among my favorite is the house that Bunky Boutique (a cute boutique that moved a few streets away) used to sit it in, and the one that The Roosevelt (a local bar) currently sits in. The exposed brick on The Roosevelt is super appealing to me, and makes me wish it was my home.

Scott is also a lover of old homes with character. One day we hope to have one of our own and turn it into a magical place where he can build things (lights and other amazing items), and I can write. Oh, it’s going to be lovely.

The boots I’m wearing were a Christmas gift a few years ago. Being an Arizona girl my whole life you would think I would always have a pair of boots (I probably had a tiny pair when I was young), but up until a few years ago I was sans cowboy boots. Now with my very own pair I feel a little bit more like an Arizonian. Oh, and Scott has a pair of cowboy boots as well. I saved those boots from going into a dumpster by my house!

Right down the street from these two homes is a modern living/business center that always has the loveliest vintage pick-up truck in their driveway. Scott thought it was only appropriate to take a few photos in front of it.

Yesterday Scott and I went to see Harry Potter, had lunch at Slices pizza (our favorite), and hung out with our new friends Elisa and John. Elisa has a super cute comic blog and I think you should all check it out!

Scott and I are going to see one of our favorite bands, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, tonight. What are you doing on this beautiful Saturday?
