Hey there – thanks for stopping by! I’m Chelsea, the veteran blogger known as Chelsea Bird online. My blogging career started as a teenager and now over half of my life can be found on the internet [ I dare ya to track down my old Zanga and Livejournal diaries – 😉 ]. I’m an Arizona native that spent most of my childhood traveling, and now my husband, Scott, and our son, Ace, and I all call the suburbs of Phoenix our home. Scott is known as the catalyst that inspired me to launch this blog back in 2009, as I needed a way to share my summer travels with my then boyfriend while we spent thousands of miles a part for weeks, oftentimes months at a time. Today, Chelsea Bird focuses on sharing our everyday life, personal style, family, travel and peeks into our tiny home and growing small business, Citizen Home Decor.

HOW DID YOU GET THE IDEA TO START CHELSEA BIRD?
I started blogging when I was in junior high back on Livejournal and Xanga and absolutely loved it. I started blogging here in June 2009 because I wanted a space where I could show my then boyfriend, now husband, what I was up to while spending the summer away in Colorado. After our summer apart came to a close, I continued writing and now I’m here today!
WHAT’S YOUR CAREER?
I’m a part-time blogger, as well as the Director of Influencer Management at Find Your Influence, an influencer marketing platform and community.
WHEN WAS YOUR SON BORN?
Scott and I welcomed our first child, Ace Edward, on November 3,2018. You can read more about our pregnancy announcement, part I of my first trimester of pregnancy experience and part II!
