Hello! I hope everyone’s weekend went swimmingly well. My weekend was quite interesting, and filled with time spent playing with my puppy Scout. It’s amazing how much he has grown just in the past few weeks, and how much his personality is starting to shine through. I swear, this little guy has so much spunk!

Recently I was digging through my wardrobe (the start of what would be some pre-fall cleaning) and I stumbled upon this sweet dress. It was a bit of a chilly evening, so I thought I would pair it with my favorite polka dot cardigan and see how into pattern mixing I am. I can always admire a well mixed pattern outfit, but I’m usually afraid to dive into the action of pattern mixing on my own. I guess you can call this dot on dot ensemble my baby steps, baby steps.

This morning I woke up in Windy Wyoming and I’m hoping for a busy week here. Summer’s end is inching closer, and closer and my heart and mind are getting rather full with plans and hopes for the new school year/new fall season. I may have had a dream about notebooks and Sharpie pens last night! Geez! Haha!
