Recently I’ve received a few emails asking me about my beauty routine. I go back and forth between loving makeup, and not really caring about it much at all. Lately I’ve been really having fun with it (in my own way), so I thought I would put together a little list of the beauty products that are frequenting my every day beauty routine.

1. Aveeno Continus Protection Sunblock SPF 30- Growing up my parents insisted I wear sunscreen. They had both spent a lot of time out in the sun in their lives, and didn’t want me to end up sun damaged skin. I LOATHED putting on sunblock for a few years, and then I realized how important it is. I pretty much never leave home without it on at least my face.

2. Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black Mascara- I’ve used this mascara for years and years. I love how dark it is, and it’s my go-to beauty product when I don’t feel like wearing much makeup that day.

3. BareMinerals Matte SPF 15 Foundation in Fairly Light- A handful of years ago I switched to using this foundation after a family friend gave me a starter kit for the brand. I’ve never looked back since.

4. BareMinerals Mineral Veil- As instructed by Bare Escentuals, I lightly wear this over my foundation to keep it down. I also think it adds another layer of protection to my face.

5. Smashbox Cream Cheek Duo in Blushing/Peony- I picked this up a few months ago on a whim at Nordstrom’s Rack. I LOVE the color it brings to my cheeks, and the consistency of it. Best on-the-whim beauty purchase I’ve ever made.

6. M.A.C. Paint Pot in Painterly- I picked this up after seeing it on one of Ashley Tia’s beauty videos. I previously had the Bare Study version, and wanted something a little less sparkly. This has quickly become my favorite eyeshadow, and I’ve been wearing it almost daily.
