I’m so excited to announce that I’m featured on the Verily Magazine website! Summer Bellessa of The Girls With Glasses and Alex Avjen of Ave Styles asked me if I would model in a swimwear shoot that they were working on for Verily Magazine, and of course I jumped at the opportunity to work with them (they’re both amazingly talented ladies!). The shoot was held at The Saguaro in Scottsdale and the photos were taken by the lovely Jaci Marie Smith. There were four models (including myself), and we all have different body types. The goal of the photos and article was to showcase the best swimwear for your body type. My hourglass shape (and love for one piece swimsuits) led me to model the maillot style suit, and a peplum! 

The black suit (from Target) was been in my closet for years now and is always my go-to, but this pretty blue peplum suit, The Wave, from Albion Fit has me thinking that it’s time to make an invenstment in my Summer 2014 swimwear. 

I’m absolutely thrilled with these summery photos, and feel so thankful to have been able to work with such lovely ladies. I will admit that I was a tad nervous about modeling in a bathing suit, as I’m always shy about showing off my thighs, but doing this shoot has made feel confident in my body and ready to take on a summer by the pool!
