I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — there’s just something about these August sunsets! Last night we had the most beautiful, stormy sunset that turned into the wildest monsoon — complete with 60+ mph wind, tons of rain and insane amounts of lighting. When the wind was still calm, Scott and I hopped in my dad’s old Benz and took a drive around the block, taking in the lighting show that played out in front of us. It really was such a beautiful sight!

Yesterday evening we received the most wonderful news that one of our dearest friends, Sarah, is in labor! We’ve been anxiously awaiting baby boy Rhodes’ arrival, and thankfully celebrated him just a few days ago with lots of friends (SO happy we didn’t have the shower a week later!). I just can’t wait to see his sweet little face today, and tell him how much Auntie and Uncle love him — it’s gonna be a great one! Have a wonderful day, ya’ll!
