Hello! It feels good to be back here so soon — I’ve missed talking with you guys on the regular, so I’m back tonight to be a bit chatty and share a favorite outfit. Red has always been my color, in fact — I had this red Hellogoodbye zip-up hoodie that I wore all too often in high school and it was just about my favorite thing. Today, the hoodie is tucked away, but my love for red still shines through my almost monochromatic wardrobe. Red has a way of making me feel pulled together with an added zing. Do you guys have a color like that? I have a feeling we all do — whether it’s red, orange, blue or green, there always seems to be that one color that just livens and brightens things up — even on a dull day.

Today felt very much like a Monday, but hey — we all have those days, right? Scott and I did have our new washer and dryer delivered (which was so exciting!), and we purchased a new rug and matching pillow for our bedroom. It’s kind of silly the things that excitement me today — if you would have told 18 year old Chelsea that she would be getting stoked on pillows and rugs, she would have told you that you were crazy, but my how things have changed. My birthday is a week from today, so I guess birthday week has begun? Here’s to extra iced coffees, pre-birthday celebrations and buying all the home decor pieces I can get my hands on, haha.
