Over the last few months I have had some amazing opportunities to meet some of the sweetest blogging girls around. In March I met so many wonderful ladies at the AZ Blogger Meet-up, and soon after I met a handful of wonderful, talented girls who were in town for the Creative Estates conference. One of the sweet ladies I had the opportunity to meet was Ilene of Much Love, Illy. Since our meet-up last month we have kept in touch, and she has been sweet enough to send me one of her pretty poppy headbands that I’ve been eyeing forever now!

It’s safe to say that I’m in love with the color of pretty headband! It makes me think of fall, and inspired this very fall like outfit. I know it’s almost summer, but I believe that I will always carry around with me this fall sense-of-mind. I just want nice weather, pretty colored leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and fun fall outings all year round!

In other news, this summer I will be spending time in Colorado with my family. Every summer my family goes there for work (planning events) and I usually come along for the ride to help (that way I can work during the summer and save for the fall). It’s going to be very hard to be away from Scott, but we’ve been spending the summers apart for our whole relationship so I know we will be just fine. Sometime around early July he will be coming up to visit me and I honestly can’t already wait! I just love traveling around with him, going on adventures and visiting all my favorite spots.

For the most part I will be around the Grand Junction area, but will most likely stopping in Denver to visit family. I plan on blogging the whole time I’m gone, and will give it my best attempt to take outfit photos on my own throughout the towns I will be stopping in. Here’s to hoping I can get the hang of taking my own photos quickly!
