November Fringe

11.14.11
This morning I was up bright and early and before the sun. My sleeping patterns have been really off for the past few months, so I’m either up super early or later than I would want to be. Anyways, I was happy to be up early this morning so I could collect my thoughts, and get a little blogging done. I’ve always been a morning person!

This weekend Scott and I went to see Like Crazy at one of our local art theaters. I’ve been dying to see it every since I saw the movie trailer with Stars’ Dead Hearts song playing in the background. It was a very moving movie, and Scott and I could really relate to some of what was going on in it. The fact that she was a journalist, and he was a furniture maker felt all too familiar in the very best way. Ever since seeing it, it’s all I have been talking about. I’m pretty sure we will be going to see it again! I think I need the soundtrack too!

Lately I’ve been rocking the cozy look. I’m so happy to be all bundled up and feeling like I don’t live in Arizona (I do love it here, but I’m such a fan of the cool weather!). This past weekend it was raining and cold! I felt just like I was in Portland! All that was missing was the perfect cup of coffee from Stumptown. Oh, what I would do for a few amazing drinks from there. Maybe it’s time to order some of their delicious coffee online!

Today I have quite a bit of work to catch up on, and I’m hoping to maybe stop downtown at my favorite Lola Coffee shop. I might have taken it a bit easy this weekend, so now it’s time to kick my butt into gear! Even with all of this work, I truly know that I am such a lucky lady and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to do all that I’m doing right now.
