On Friday, May 2nd, I turned 26! I ended up having the day off, so Scott and I started the celebrations early with a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY” at 4am when he was getting ready for work. Back by 8:30 (short shift!), Scott suprised with the living room of my dreams (you can see a peek of it here!). Apparently, he had been browsing my Home Sweet Home board on Pinterest for quite some time now and decided to create me a space that he knew I would love – complete with the eggshell chair of my dreams! For my birthday breakfast, we headed to Joe’s Real Farm Grill and The Coffee Shop for the most amazing waffles with fruit and whip cream and yummy iced coffee. We also picked up cupcakes for the road and I swear the cupcake gods must have been shining down on me because they had pumpkin cupcakes with maple frosting? In May? WHAT?! Basically they were delicous and we devored them in front of the red rocks in Sedona – it was a pretty magical experience. We actually headed to Sedona right after snapping these photos in Agritopia in their mini grape vineyard! I have more photos to share from our road trip, but I’ll save those for another day!

Thank you SO incredibly much to everyone who wished me a very happy birthday! I truly appreciate your sweet words and kindness, and honestly can’t explain how much your words mean to me! I forsee 26 being a lucky, adventerous, and amazing year!
