Hello! I started writing this post when we weren’t actually in California yet, so the title still feels relevant — even though I’m currently sitting in our darling AirBnB in San Diego with all the windows and patio door open, taking in the cool breeze and our gorgeous view of a canyon below us. We arrived here late last night after a quick 5+hour drive from Phoenix, and now we’ll be spending the next few days enjoying the cooler weather, the ocean waters, lots and lots of coffee shops, and of course, the Del Mar Fair!

Scott and I have been dreaming about taking this mini-getaway for quite some time now, so we’re very excited to finally be here and staying in the most darling place.
