Well, hello there! Sorry for the crickets around here — I’ve just been galavanting along the coast and up and over to Southern Utah. The last few weeks sure have been a whirlwind, but in the best possible way. We’ve gone from the desert, to the beach, up to the mountains and back down down to the desert again. We’ve dipped our toes in the Pacific Ocean, flew over the great Salt Lake and saw the Grand Canyon from 10,000 feet in the air. We’ve kissed and cuddled our puppies, and come home to two very needy cats. We’ve also begun a new chapter in our lives, with Scott starting a new, full-time job (today — woot, woot!), and are still adjusting to life back in the heat. To say the last few weeks have been wonderful would be an understatement, because they’ve truly been nothing short of amazing (and exhausting all at once — ha).

I have so, so much I want to share — pictures, stories, memories and more. However, for now, I’ll be leaving you with a few photos from a very colorful day at The Saguaro in Scottsdale, AZ. Scott and I literally had to dodge a huge group of young, pool partying college kids to get to this very orange wall (sidetone: it was totally worth it). I’ll always have good feelings toward The Saguaro — we had the first Arizona Blogger Conference here (way back in 2012!), and have also taken more photos in this incredibly colorful space than I can remember anymore. My most favorite memory, though, has to be when Scott and I “tied the knot” just across the way! <3 p="">
