50 STYLES / 50 STATES WITH OLD NAVY

09.12.16

If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time, you’ll know how much I love my home state! So when Old Navy reached out about participating in their 50 Styles, 50 States campaign — I jumped at the opportunity to show off my state pride! I was born in the heart of the state (the capitol!), and have yet to find another place that I would rather call my home.

While Arizona is known for being HOT, we also have our fair share of “cooler weather” months that allow me to pull out all of my long-sleeved dresses, booties, jackets and scarves! September is one of those interim months where it still can be 100+ degrees, but 70’ish degrees in any and all stores, restaurants, buildings, etc. I get cold really easy, so sleeved dresses, bare legs, and comfy booties are my usual go-to’s for an outfit that will take me from outside, inside and day to night in the desert!

Ever since moving out to a more rural part of town a few years back (we live on 10 acres and are surrounded by a tree farm!), I’ve been more drawn to color palettes and outfits that fit our scenery — shades of blue, brown, white and green make up most of my wardrobe these days!

How has your city or state influenced your style? I’ve loved seeing how a few others from this campaign are showing off their state flare, like Samantha from Iowa and Elana from Maine! Now what about you? Show off your own hometown style by uploading your favorite Old Navy look to your social channels, tagging @OldNavy and using the hashtags — #OldNavyStyle and #50Styles50States! Oh, and don’t forget to check out how others from around the country have styled up their favorite Old Navy outfits on People
