Ace’s First September

10.07.19

Happy Fall, ya’ll! Bring on the pumpkins, PSLs and ALL the baby Halloween costumes! It started putting together this post in September (#momlife), but I’m just now getting around to finishing it up. I’m actually in a bit of shock as to how fast last month went by — Ace’s first September. We took our autumn boy up to Northern Arizona for the first time, celebrated my dad’s birthday in a tiny town with the cutest old school square, sold at another fall Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market and celebrated the turn of autumn — feels like a lot, right?!

Last September (and October) I dreamed of what this year would be like with our little guy. Pumpkin picking and Halloween costumes — I was even convinced that our little guy would come early, just in time for Halloween. I kid you not, I bought a “Baby’s First Halloween” onesie for the occasion and although he wasn’t early, he was promptly delivered on time (my water broke on my due date) and my November 3rd baby was here just three days post-All Hallows Eve.

And this year? Well, we soaked in every inch of September that we could (truly, it was jam-packed month) and now we’ve already picked out mums and pumpkins for our porch, been to our first pumpkin patch of the season and started rocking our fall clothes (although, it is still pretty warm here in Phoenix).
